Remediation

Remediation is conducted to mitigate or remove contaminants from soil, soil gas, or groundwater for the general protection of human health and the environment. These are generally conducted under Regulatory oversight. The remediation approach depends on the type of contamination and may include soil excavation and disposal, soil vapor extraction and treatment, groundwater extraction and treatment, or in-situ treatment.
